[Parades] 4th of July Parade

Parade details:
We have decided to push back our call time for the parade due to the heat.
We are calling students to arrive at Oakwood Cemetery no later than 9:45
this Saturday, July 4th for the parade. Our uniform for this parade is a
white t-shirt and navy blue shorts with tennis shoes to march in. No crocs,
converse, boots, etc. students may accessorize with patriotic gear such as
beads, hats, sunglasses, etc.
Students should be dropped off with their instrument out of their case as
there is nowhere for music cases to be stored during the parade. Please
make arrangements to take home instruments today (including Drumline).
Most people go as far down on Northline (Ford rd) as possible, drop off
their student, and then park near the end of the parade for pickup. Please
do not make your student wait too long in the heat! While I don’t have an
exact end time for parades, we have typically ended around 11:30 in the
past.
